Shipping Agent MarLog has entered into an agreement to deliver the ‘Technical Help Desk’ services for The Tall Ships Races Stavanger 2018.
The technical help desk services will provide all the practical help the ships will need during their time in the port of Stavanger. MarLog will act as the contact between the ships and relevant suppliers.
“MarLog has been involved with the Tall Ships events since 1997 and has good experience in assisting the ships with all their needs and requirements. We are already looking forwarding to contributing again in July 2018,” says Magne Grønnestad, Skipper and CEO of MarLog.
The technical help desk service is one of the factors which makes Stavanger popular as a port for the visiting sailing ships.
“While ships in other ports must often find their own suppliers from a list of telephone numbers, we can be a single point of contact. It is important for us to be able to offer this critical service to the visiting ships and we are very happy to have this agreement already in place”, says Knud Helge Robberstad, Project Manager for the Tall Ships Races 2018.
