We are proud to present our latest addition to our product range. Together with Lopolight ApS MarLog will offer what is perhaps the world’s best lanterns to the Norwegian market. Our new partner is Danish, located in Humlebæk outside Copenhagen. Today, Lopolight is among the world’s leading manufacturer of marine navigational lighting.
Established in 2001 with roots to yachting, today Lopolight has produced over 170 000 lanterns to all types of vessels, such as small sailingboats, motorboats, fishing, workboats, offshore ships, supertankers and frigates. This gives a unique spread in the product range, and enables us to produce lanterns to suit your every need. The original entrepreneurs are still managing the company, together with approximately 20 other employees, all with the same passion for making the product with the highest quality, best looks and lowest power consumption in the market.
Lopolights is built upon LED technology, and has lighthouses made from 6082 aluminum with an anodized surface. Inside the house is filled with a special potting resin to make the electronics water- and vibration proof. The lights conforms to IP68 water- and dust proofing – the highest enclosure grade available.
The light itself is made to have a life span of 50 000 hours. On an average work vessel, this should be equal to about 25 years of use. When the light is closing to the end of its lifetime, it will alert the users about it. On a vessel where the lanterns are placed in areas that are hard to reach, this will give better HSE for the crew onboard. This as there is no need to change light bulbs frequently.
In addition to market leading navigational lights, we also deliver a control and monitoring system that can be connected to our lanterns. This system consists of a junction box and a control panel. The NLC system can be easily integrated towards other bridge systems. It is easy to install and configure, and are individually adapted to each vessel from the producer. It is scalable from 3 to 28 lights, and have both individual and mode switches. The system conforms to IMO MSC253 and are type approved according to IEC60945.
