Nikolai Bakker

CEO

Nikolai leads MarLog and is responsible for everything from day-to-day operations to long-term business development. An entrepreneur at heart, he has founded several companies throughout his career. He has a strong commercial and maritime background and has been involved in operations at MarLog for many years. Nikolai is the kind of leader who likes to get things done without delay, and that energy spreads across the entire team.

He has been part of Team MarLog since 2020.

Geir Røyneberg

Operations Manager

Geir has extensive and versatile experience in the logistics industry. He was one of the first employees of the company and has been instrumental in building it into a proficient logistics provider for operators on the Norwegian continental shelf. As Operations Manager, he is responsible for the operations of our logistics department.

Sofie-Amalie Høxbroe Sandstøl

Marketing Manager

Sofie-Amalie holds a Master's in International Marketing and Management from Copenhagen Business School, and with over ten years of experience in B2B marketing and sales, she brings a sharp eye for both brand development and commercial strategy. As Marketing Manager, she is responsible for MarLog's communications and market strategy, working closely with sales and business development across the company's business areas. Sofie-Amalie is also our our in-house Dane here in Norway and Deputy Managing Director of MarLog Fenders. She has been part of Team MarLog since 2025.

Vetle Jørgensen Hopsdal

Project Coordinator

With a vocational certificate in retail and bachelor's degrees in innovation and entrepreneurship, international marketing, and early childhood education, Vetle is probably the hardest person on the team to beat academically. He has a natural flair for the practical and it shows. As Project Coordinator, he is responsible for our ship agency operations, making sure everything runs smoothly when a vessel calls. He knows a little about everything that goes on in MarLog's operations and is one of the people who truly keeps the wheels turning.

Admira Strømme Kljucanin

 Accounting and Administration

As an Accounting and Administration consultant, Admira is our rock who keeps all administrative tasks running smoothly in the office. She has a broad background in administrative tasks across various industries, as well as a bachelor’s degree in economics and administration. Admira has been part of Team MarLog since 2024.
